Located inside the Canaima National Park, just two kilometers away of the Canaima Lagoon with an exceptional location by the Carrao river, it is a wonderful tourist lodge with plenty of comfort in the forest:It was founded by the legendary Rudolf Truffino, known as Jungle Rudy (1956) who was charmed by the scenic beauties of this millennial region and decided to settle down with his wife, to show all the visitors few of the secrets of the jealously saved nature in this land of table top mountains also known as Tepuyes. He named this camp "Ucaima”, which is the Pemón word for “what the water attracts.” Today this family tradition continues in his daughters' hands, for the enjoyment of all the tourists, from then on and always.

The charming Living room-bar, very pleasing for group meetings, next to an extensive national and international wines selection. A panoramic dining room, with the gastronomic service delighted in simple, abundant and very exquisite plates. We also have a "living room-mirador" designed especially to enjoy a bautiful view of the tepuys and a special place for relaxation. We also offer a small living room for conferences.

We have 5 beautiful cabins with 14 comfortable rooms (7 double, 3 matrimonial, 3 triples and 1 quadruple with 33 people maximum capacity) with their respective private bathroom and hammock in their porch; pleasing natural atmosphere accompanied by the freshness of the wind, surrounded by an exuberant beauty that will make your trip an unforgettable experience.

The camp offers trips to the different areas of Canaima N.P, onto the majestic rivers and wild sceneries that vary according to the influence of the equatorial climate characterized by a dry (January to April) and rain period (May to December), hiding some of the sights to discover others, and especially to visit the Angel Falls, where we have a refuge that consists of 2 cabins with 6 comfortable rooms (2 double, 2 triples and 2 rooms for 5 people with bunks beds for 20 people maximum capacity), shared bathrooms, a living-dining room with a superb view to the falls and the Auyantepuy table top mountain.
