Day 1


We depart at about 9am by boat onto the Beni river to reach Madidi National Park, an extensive protected area with high biodiversity in Southamerica. We will find a community devoted to the production of sugar cane honey and we will learn about their life. After 3 hours in the Beni and Tuichi rivers we will reach a rustic lodge for overnight. Lunch and relaxation and we take off for a hike in the jungle where we can spot Squirrel monkeys, white tailed deers, pecarees, capybaras and a few birds species, our guides will also show us how to recognize toxic, anesthesic, healing and allergic plants. After dinner we will enjoy a night tour to experience the sounds of the jungle.

Day 2

Caquiawara- Macaws Clay lick wall

We wake up with the sounds of Red Howler Monkeys and birds. Early in the morning we will ride a boat to Caquiawara, a clay lick wall where Parrots and Macaws feed and nest, we will visit the interpretation trail and do birdwatching on the spot.
Lunch at the shelter and catch and release fishing in the Tuichi river or a lagoon nearby. We will enjoy a refreshing swim with the sunset and spend the night with the sounds in the jungle.

Day 3

Back to Rurrenabaque

Short hike around the jungle for birdwatching and wildlife observation.
Lunch and short relaxation time before we take our boat back to Rurrenabaque where we will arrive at around 5pm.
